Question : I had an abortion done a little over five weeks ago. I was 5 weeks. I went for my follow up appointment and to my regular doctor to confirm I was not pregnant any more, they both told me I wasn't not pregnant. I have taken several at home pregnancy test as well and the came up negative. I had internal ultra sounds done to confirm I wasn't by the doctors. I haven't started my period yet but I have had sex. If I do come up pregnant with in the next few weeks could this be the same pregnancy as before?

You had abortion for your 5 weeks pregnancy. It was confirmed by ultrasound and negative pregnancy test.

Now you have had intercourse again.
There are chances of pregnancy with this intercourse but that would not be the same pregnancy as before. It would be a new pregnancy.

You can confirm it by blood beta HCG levels after 1 week and UPT after two weeks of intercourse.
