One usually gets infected during intercourse if the partner is infected.
Pregnancy is possible without getting infected if the you get pregnant by intrauterine insemination by washed semen sample or donor sperm.
If your husband takes antiretroviral treatment regularly and get treatment for the complications at the earliest, then there are high chances of long life.
