Question : I was asking about my friend earlier.
Sometimes his heart beats as slow as 52 bpm.
Sometimes his heart beats as slow as 52 bpm.
Brief Answer:
If 52 heart beat is occasional then no need to worry.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome to HCM.
If heart beat goes to 52 per minute occasionally without any clinical symptoms then there is no need to worry as it can occur in athletes or in person who does more workouts.
But if it is constant (around 50 to 58 per minute) then it should be further investigated by EKG,TMT and should be co-related with clinical symptoms and medical history.
He may need to see physician for initial cardiac evaluation.
Hope this will help you.
