The radiofrequency nerve ablation is a successful mode of pain relief in case the pain is originating from a single nerve root or a localized area. The accuracy of the procedure is directly proportional to the success rate. In some cases there may be a muscle weakness for a few days. In case the pain is persistent and is not controlled with oral medication then radiofrequency nerve ablation or acupuncture can be tried.
