Question : hi
i had protected sex using a condom with a sex worker at dubai 97 days(more than three months) ago...it was the first time in my life i did that and did it only once..i got tested today after 97 days my report was negative..i was tested by rapid antibody tridot test taking blood sample...so my questions are

am i safe from HIV?
is my 97 days (more than three months) rapid antibody test conclusive ?
do i need any further testing?
can i have unprotected sex with my wife now...coz i waited for three months...

Antibodies against HIV would appear in the blood by 6-8 weeks or may be delayed up to 3 months in the presence of infection.

You got tested with rapid antibody tridot test after 97 days post exposure and the result was negative so it is conclusive and you are completely safe from HIV.

You need not to go for further testing now and can do unprotected sex with your wife. So be relaxed and move ahead in your life happily.
