Question : I have a question about Adult Rectal Temperature since My friend and I had a converstate about better to use adult rectal temperature if spouse given her or his wife for a rectal temperature due to body temperature. My deaf friend think it is stupidest or never head of it?

For example? It is normally for spouse given a rectal temperature if I am trouble as mengitiis or I will put my own rectal temperature by myself since I have hard time to use sim position due to my back painful. Asking my hubby if he willing. it is hard to say to my husband sometime. he think sex kinkly stuff. It is normal or stupidest?

Measurement of rectal temperature is a basic medical technique to know if a person has fever. The mouth, ear, armpit, and rectum are the most commonly used places.

Going by location of temperature measurement, a rectal temperature reading is slightly higher than an oral temperature reading. A temperature taken in the armpit is slightly lower than an oral temperature reading. The most accurate way to measure body temperature is to take a rectal temperature.
