Question : Is romaycin medecin
safe with pregnancy
My friend is 8wks pregnant and tests show high toxoplasmose igg (96)
Her doctor prescribed romaycin is it safe to take?
She took for couple of days then stopped it was causing her nausea. But now she scared not to take it too. Is it safe??

I've checked the attached reports... What is the result of her Toxoplasmosis IgM and avidity Test result?

If the IgM is negative, it suggests chronic infection and she need not take any treatment.
For the toxoplasmosis infection, the treatment is spiramycin. Discuss with your doctor about this.

I looked into the blood test results. Since IgM is negative, it is suggestive of past infection.
Therefore there is no need for her to take treatment.
