Chlofranil contains Clomipramine which is placed under Category C drug with respect to pregnancy.

Category C drug means : Studies done on pregnant animals have shown that the drug can cause harm to the fetus ( baby growing in the womb ) , but adequate studies haven't been conducted in humans.

So it would be advisable to stop this drug and go for a safer alternative .
