Hello dear thanks for trusting health care magic.
I understand your anxiety but this thing is very precise and very much taken care of.
I myself do IUI daily being infertility specialist and at times there are around 5-6 patients in a single day.
They are all well marked and patient specific.

Brief Answer:
no chance of mixing

Detailed Answer:
Yes you can get amniocentesis done at 14-16 weeks of gestation but that is a little risky procedure with a risk of abortion of around 1%.
But believe me it is very specific and with almost nil chances of mixing.
All the best.

Brief Answer:
treatment needed

Detailed Answer:
Hi, I understand your health concern.
But I want to tell you one thing that any infertility treatment whether a natural cycle with ovulation induction or even IVF (Test tube baby) have a success rate ranging from 40-60% even in best hands.
You need to keep trying and not to get disheartened by negative outcome.
High prolactin levels can be a cause of failure definitely so take the treatment advised for the same which will help in increasing the chances of conception.
Take a month of rest and then start with a fresh cycle and fresh hopes.
God bless you both.

thankyou for you warm wishes and answer.
Why it is so that the prolactin has increased. One year back it was just fine.Is it due to eating habits or stress?
How far high prolactin effects the IUI process(how much %age contribution). What is the treatment? Can it be brought down to normal level within a month. We are going again for the second cycle, shall we go ahead or do it after the prolactin treatment.
Thanks in advance !

Brief Answer:

Detailed Answer:
Prolactin levels definitely affect but not to a great extent.
It affects the fertility potential only in less than 10% way but should be treated.
It will be treated instantly once you start with treatment.
There are no obvious causes but some studies say that ovulation induction causes rise in prolactin levels in some patients but it is not evidence based.
You can go for your cycle IG she is ready for it but there is no harm in waiting for a month if you are tired of the treatment protocol.
Take care.
