Question : Hi Doctor, Just wanted to know if sex in the beginning of 8th month of pregnancy is safe or not? Will it effect the contraction? Is it safe now?

Intercourse is safe in all the trimesters of pregnancy, provided there is no placental and vaginal complications like placenta previa, vaginal infection etc.
It is unlikely to induce uterine contractions and has no effect on uterine activity.
