Question : Hi,
Doing inetercourse in first trimester is fine?
or should we avoid it?..
Also is it a myth that if a women concievd then if she sleep on left side then she will concive a boy & vice versa??
& when should we go to doctor to register her name in hospital
her lmp was 27-Nov-2016
Also may I know her delivery due date pls

Hello and welcome to HCM.Thanks for writing in to us with your health query. Yes you can have intercourse within 20 weeks but it should not be rough. Its myth that if a pregnant lady sleeps in some specific position then it can affect the sex of the baby. She should get registered now under an obstetrician for further monitoring and keeping the record of dovelopment and growth of the baby. Her EDD will be around 20th August. Regards Dr Manisha Jain.
