Question : Hello,
I had a deviated septum repair and sinus surgery yesterday. The Dr put dissolvable packing in my nose and things have been pretty good. The one thing I keep reading online though is that I can (and should) be using a neti pot to irrigate and flush my sinuses. These seems like a really good idea; but my instructions from the doctor only stated to use a saline rinse. Do you know, is it safe to do a full sinus irrigation yet or should I continue only doing the saline rinses?
Thanks for any help you can provide.

Brief Answer:
Better to go only saline rinse
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I have gone through your query; and suggests you that better to go for only saline rinse for 15 days after that you may go for the full sinus irrigation after consulting with your doctor.
According to my best of knowledge it is not safe just after the surgery, better to go for irrigation only after the proper healing and or recovery.
