Question : Just learned that ultra sound showed small benign cyst on liver and kidney. Told do nothing. No cause for alarm.

It is acceptable to have benign cysts in liver and kidney in the elderly. At 84 years, more than half of the normal population may have cysts which show benign characteristics. Had it been suspicious, your doctor would have informed you regarding further tests.
