Question: Hello, can I smoke weed after a liposuction? Instead than the Vicodin? and be seated is a wrong position to recover from low back, upper back lipo? Thank you

Hi

Thanks for writing.

It is not advisable to smoke for at least 5 to 6 days after surgery because of risks of coughing and bleeding...smoking weed is not advisable at all..

Take your pain medications as advised..

The sitting position is not good for lower section liposuction...if you want to sit, you have stand up and move around every half hour and walk around..prolonged sitting may increase swelling in the legs...

Sleeping with legs elevated during first few days after surgery..

Vigorous activities should be avoided..
