Is Starting To Stand Without Holding For Support At One Year A Normal Pace Of Development?

Question: hi my baby turned an year old on 3rd april. We were giving 400IU vitamin d3 drops daily till 1 year. We forgot to ask the doc whether we should stop/increase this dose on 12 month vacc. please advice. Also, he has started to stand without holding for support now. Is it the normal pace of development? when can I expect him to walk 1/2 steps without support?
Brief Answer:
Development is proper
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Please continue the Vitamin D3 drops 400 IU per day. The child is expected to be able to stand without support by 1 year of age and so the development is right on track. He would soon (in a few weeks or less than a month) start taking a few steps, holding onto furnitures and eventually will start walking without support. Please be patient. There is nothing to worry.
Feel free to write back.
Regards
