Question: Hi there!

Some days awake up with or develop a headache that mostly sits around my temples and eyes... it aches/is annoying when im resting but when I bend over or tense my muscles or anything.. it gets worse and can be sharp and stabbing... and like a pain that runs up from my ear to my temple...

it doesn't often feel like it's on both sides but, it does switch sides... and my neck/shoulder/upper back usually feels like its solid like concrete.

Is that tension/stress? I'm pretty chronically stressed and have some depression/anxiety that lingers.

Take treatment as advised under a neurologist's supervision

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

A bilateral headache with stress and anxiety means a tension-type headache. While a headache if strictly unilateral and causing such features may be a cluster headache.

Is there any vomiting, visual loss, watering from eyes or redness of eyes?

You should get examined by a neurologist and take treatment accordingly. Drugs like Amitriptyline, Duloxetine, Sertraline, Venlafaxine may be helpful in tension-type headache.
