Question : Hello doctor, my son is 15 months old and yesterday night while sleeping released blood from nose.we saw stains of blood on bed sheet in the morning and dry blood in his nose we put nasoclear in his nose. He was not crying about it.
Brief Answer:
Epistaxis - don't worry.
Detailed Answer:
Hi...do not worry.
This seems to be simple case of idiopathic epistaxis or nose bleed.
You need not to worry about a single episode and that too as it has stopped by itself.
But if it happens next time you can put pressure application in the area so that the bleeding will stop and get him evaluated for CBC/ PT and aPTT tests along with check-up of BP.
I hope this answers your question...
Kind regards,
