Question : .My wife was using mifigest kit , she took one tablet and the other 4 after 41 hours and she started to bleed and suddenly her stomach started painting so badly that I had to take her to the hospital.. From the hospital they're saying that she need to do a surgery .. I'm just confused over the fact that she is bleeding continuously so I would just like to ask you whether is it important for her to do the surgery as she is bleeding.. And how do we know that the abortion process is completed
Brief Answer:
Can be due to ectopic pregnancy.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
The bleeding that she is having is due to the effect of the mifegest kit. A surgery may be needed if she has an ectopic pregnancy or D&C may be needed if there are retained products in the uterus. You need to get her ultrasound scan done and upload the report here for proper evaluation.
