Brief Answer:
Surgical manipulation required

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thank You for contacting HCM. My name is Dr Muhammad Ali Rauf & i will look into your problem.

I have gone through your query and would try to help you in the best possible way. Non Displaced/hairline fractures are treated by external fixation BUT in cases of displaced fractures, surgical manipulation is required and that too should be carried out on time because delay results in failure of union at a later stage. I would suggest you to visit hospital and get an appointment for a "Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon" who will examine it and tell the appropriate method of fixation.

Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help if not then don't forget to close the discussion and rate it.
Wishing you good health !!

Brief Answer:
Yes there are chances due to displacement

Detailed Answer:
Hello

You are most welcome. I'll be available 24/7 for if you need any assistance.

Your treating doctor may first apply external fixation to see if proper alignment occurs. In case it fails then yes surgery would be the option because of displacement. Hopefully it will recover soon afterwards.

All the very best & wishing you good health.
Thank You
