Question : Is it necessary to surgically remove sebaceous cyst on right cheek?
If yes, is it covered in medical insurance.

I am Dr Asmeet Kaur Sawhney, a dermatologist.
Sebaceous cyst is a benign cystic lesion of the skin which can be left as such.
It is not necessary to remove the Sebaceous cyst as it is harmless.
Surgical excision of the sebaceous cyst should be covered under medical insurance.
