Question: Hello Dr. I am 31 yr old man from India-Mumbai city. I weigh 97 kg presently. I am undergoing a diet plan. I take medications for Anxiety (Sensival, Tryptomer, Oxytol) and Asthma (Budamate 400 mg once or twice) and Thyroid (Thyronorm 75 mg). I have essential tremors too since childhood. But they have become less since I few years. My dietician asked me to take a pill called 'Obolim' for wight loss. The details of pill working and composition are on below link: http://www.rememberindia.com/products/Obesity/For-Obesity-Control/For-Obesity-Care I am really worried if these pills will suit me or not. Since the pills are ayurvedic in nature, people I have referred say they are harmless. Till now, I have not found anything happening after taking the pills. But the recommended dosage is - 2 before breakfast, 2 before lunch and 2 before dinner. I don't take them regularly till now. So, could u pls kindly advise if they are safe to take or not?

Exercise releases endorphins which will help you feel good. Therefore exercise ,in your case, is good for 2 things....Weight loss and Anxiety. Do sign up for yoga classes which will help you relax... It will also help you lose weight. However, results are not immediate. However, in the long run ,it will be very beneficial for you.. Your dietitian would have made a diet plan for you. Do follow the plan. Have plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables. Avoid oily, fatty and deep fried food. Avoid sweets. Consume low fat milk Or low fat curd. Reduce the amount of oil used in your daily cooking. Hope this helps... Regards, Dr. Divya Kuttikrishnan
