Question: Hi I need some treatment for my mother .She has some psychological problem related to water and soap.
She keeps on cleaning her body with it for a very long time. Which is creating a lot of problem in her day to day activities. For eg. In kitchen as well.
Her age is 60yrs old. She is suffering from this problem since very long time.

Although it is not possible to diagnose with available little information but it appears to me that she suffers with obsessive compulsive disorder(OCD). In this disorder the person have repeated intrusive thoughts of cleaning, washing, checking, counting and hoarding. A person may experience either one or more symptoms.
To diagnose the condition a person need to spend at least one hour in repetitive activities.
This is one of the disorder where treatment takes much time in compare to other disorders.Most patients show little improvement for initial two weeks and complete response may take upto three months.
