Question : I am currently taking 100 mg of Extended Release morphine and I accidentally took it twice about an hour ago. Should I be concerned?
Brief Answer:
Toxicity symptoms not expected at this dose.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
I do not think that you need to worry if you have taken simply double the dose. It should not be enough to give rise to toxicity. Moreover, the levels of extended release medications do not rise steeply and should not be alarming. However, if you observe any adverse reactions, please call 911 or the emergency services, or visit the Emergency of a hospital immediately.
Hope that helps.
