How long do symptoms last before teerh cut thru. His gums are swollen he is miserable.

Chewing or biting toys could relieve pain and also help in teeth cutting through.
Paracetamol for pain may not be necessary. If necessary, look into dose and may be given.
Cold milk will also be helpful in relieving pain.
