Question : Hello sir, I am back again, as per your suggestion, I have now got tested today i.e. on 42nd day (6 weeks mark) with Hiv1/2 p24 combo test and have come negative. Should I now treat this as conclusive? Should I relax now? Earlier I got my self tested with same test on 8th, 16th, 25th, and 30th day. All cm negative. I had also came negative on Hiv1 RNA PCR test on 8th day and 25th day.

Brief Answer:
Reliable.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking once again on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone carefully through your query and understand your concerns. It is no use testing again and again. Since the previous tests are negative you can safely assume it to be negative. However, if you are still apprehensive, test again after 120 days from the exposure, not in between. If it is still negative, be sure that you are negative.

Let me know if I could help further.

Regards
