I am not well aware about complete list of ingredients contained in this product. However from what I have read the chief ingredient is silymarin (milk of thistle). It is claimed to have various effects - liver regenerative effects, weight reduction, anticancer effects and blood sugar / cholesterol lowering effects. Of these there are convincing studies that it leads to better sugar control, lowers insulin resistance and cholesterol when combined with other treatment. You may have some weight reduction through the changes obtained provided you continue to be on low calorie diet and do the exercise religiously.

However as far as liver benefits and anticancer effects, though there are theories practically the benefits are not convincingly proven. In other words, there are no robust evidence that this product will detoxify liver and reverse an ill liver.

If you are looking to reduce weight, you may try this product for few months along with diet modification and exercises. I would not use this product if there is history of estrogen related cancers such as breast, uterine and ovarian cancers.
