Question : Is Calcium) taken as dicalcium malate better than a more simple calcium tablet. I have read that calcium can be very hard and not good for your body bones. The supplement with Calcium as dicalcium malate also has Vitamin d, Vitamin K Magnesium and Zinc in its tablet called Osteokol Plus sold by BestHealth Nutritionals. I am a "supplement junkie" and need to make more sure I am on correct supplements that will keep my aging body workable. I am a 74 year old lady. Your answer will be very helpful to me and I will also be ok to pay you for your answer.

Brief Answer:
Dicalcuim malate is better absorbed
Detailed Answer:
Dear Ms, I have gone through your question and I understand your concerns but yes dicalcuim malate has a better absorption rate than other calcium preparations and also it continues to maintain the same absorption rate over a long period of time unlike other preparations whose absorption rate declines on continued use. I hope I answered your question , if you don't have any other clarifications then please close the discussion .
