Question: Hello doctor,
I had my sigmoid removed 2 years ago.
After a bowel movement I still feel like I have to go again and again with no significant amount of stool.
Is this normal and what can I do about it.

Hello dear,
Please answer If the problem started after the surgery or is it new.In case if its new few weeks or months it could be gastroenteritis which mean that there is inflammation of gut.Just get an antispasmodic for 3 days along with anti inflammatory and you would feel better
However if the problem is there after suegeey then please do tell me.
