Question : hello. I am having a total hysterectomy on Monday. due to excessive bleeding,fibroids,ovarian cysts, and enlarged uterus. Is there a chance I could lose weight after surgery. I am currently 5'7 136 lbs. but my stomach is bloated and feels as though I have gained inches in this area. Thank You. Traci

Hello,

The chances of weight gain are more after hysterectomy because of hormonal imbalance.
So as your weight is already more you have to do lots of exercise and diet control to reduce your weight.
