Hello,

Lower cervical region arthritis at this age is mostly degenerative spine disease.
The bone decrease in strength and height. The disc degenerates and slips to compress nerve roots.
The management depends upon symptoms, disability and examination findings.
Examination and evaluation by a neurologist, orthopedician or neurosurgeon ia advisable.
Neck isometric exercises should be done regularly.
Drugs like pregabalin, gabapentin, amitriptyline can be used.
In acute pain, pain killers with muscle relaxants like aceclofenac or etoricoxib with thiocholchicoside can be used too.
