Question : hi doctor my ocd is bad again ive been with my girlfriend for over 10 years we have unprotected oral sex but protected intercourse after oral sex and i ejaculate in her mouth i wait five or ten minutes than go wash off and urinate to not get uti i heard that urinating after sex helps not get uti but its only oral not intercourse the other night i waited 25 minutes to wash and urinate after oral is that ok to wait that long or does it not matter because this is a non risk for uti ?

There is no precise time frame mentioned any where in books or practical about time interval between ejaculation and passing urine .

UTI can occur after oral sex if the oral cavity is full of bacterial flora .

If you have urinary symptoms or even otherwise it is safe to take antibiotics like Norfloxacin or Nitrofurantoin twice daily as a prophylaxis to prevent getting UTI.
