Question : I am using Tresiba together withHumulin R for type 2 diabetes. The recent use of Tresiba has greatly improved my control. But I am having swelling of my feet? Is there any harm to this swelling?

* Insulin degludec ( Tresiba ) has known side effect of fluid retention in body
giving swelling over legs.
* Though sugar has greatly improved , you should not neglect the swelling feet
which may remain persistent or increase further ahead giving weight gain and
other adverse presentations.

I recommend strongly to consult your diabetologist for the same and get precise
management after certain blood tests.
