Question: do iron pills interfere with XXXXXXX birth control? will it still work fine to prevent pregnancy

Thank you for asking

I read your question and i understand your concern. Iron pills do not interact with XXXXXXX pills and do not reduce the efficacy of the contraceptive abilities of the pill. Irrespective of the nature of the salt iron is used with . Either fumarate, gluconate or sulphate or any other form or iron , all are non interacting with XXXXXXX pills and perfectly safe together.

However you should use iron tablets at empty stomach or 3 hours after meal with calcium and vitamin c containing juices like citrus etc to increase its absorption.
