Question : i have a script for Ranitidine which says to take at bedtime but I've heard that it causes insomnia; if that is correct then shouldn't I take it in the morning?
Is it the same product as Zantac?
Will it interact with plavix and lipador in an adverse way?

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Ranitidine is not supposed to cause insomnia. It may cause somnolence (the opposite that is) but this is a very rare side effect (too rare to consider).
Zantac contains Ranitidine, that's true.
There are no interactions between Ranitidine and the rest of the drugs you're taking.
Regarding the dosage, Ranitidine is usually taken either twice daily or as a single dose.
I hope it helps!
Kind regards!
