Question : I was taking someone else to have a ct scan. The nurse told me to wait outside the room during the ct scan, then when the scan was done she told me to enter the room. Is it safe to enter the ct scan room after the ct scan is done, is there any leftover radiation? I was wearing eyeglasses; can any leftover radiation (if there is any) affect or cause any changes to eyeglasses or eyeglass lens such as optical properties of eyeglasses such as clarity of eyeglass lens?
