Question : Hi, i have some painless series of pimple like things in the base and bottom shaft of the penis. I want to know how to make it normal. I dont have any itching or discharge. Can i get a prescription for a cream or medicine for this. Or is there any otc medicine or cream i can use

You seem to have genital molluscum contagiosum which is considered to be an STD when present on genitals. It presents as asymptomatic, pearly white, raised bumps on genital skin. It is a viral infection. Treatment for ge ital moluscum isxwith either Cautery or Freezing with liquid nitrogen. These are procedures that are performed at doctor's office. Topical imiquimod 5% cream, which patients can themselves apply, is also a treatment option. It is a prescription medication.

Hi,
Does this resolve without treatment? Also i have not had any sexual contact with anyone for the last 3months so surprised how i got an STD.
I am not sure how long i had this as i have only noticed it recently.

Genital Molluscum can happen weeks or even months after the infection was acquired. So, even if the infection was acquired 3 months ago, the lesions can happen now. I suppose they need to be treated in your case as it is unlikely they would go on there own- though they may increase or decrease in number somewhat.
