Question : my mother 52 years old diagnosed with de quervain's tenosynovitis. orthopaedic surgeon suggested surgery but we are not interested in it. As per some local homepthic doctor we are using some rhustox pills and AT tabs. Is there any other prescription you would like to add or suggest some other alternative?

Hello

If diagnosis is made and treatment is started within first 6 months of starting treatment, a single dose of corticosteroid injection cure the condition in majority of the patients.

You can consult your orthopaedic surgeon and discuss about the injection.
