Thanks for writing in.
Treatment of hydrocephalus is very simple these days with minimal risks . In fact VP shunting procedure for hydrocephalous is a day care procedure these days .Delaying surgery can cause damage to brain which is irreversible and if hydrocephalus is present, there is no treatment other than shunting. Let me know if you have any other concerns
