Is there any way for abortion at home without consulting doctor?Is it 100% sure?
In what period it should be done?Is there any way to know before hand (like before missing your periods) about pregnancy?

I will try to answer your query one by one.

1. Is there any way for abortion at home without consulting doctor?
Yes, Medical abortion can be done at home. However it needs to be done under specialist supervision to avoid unnecessary side effects.

2. Is it 100% sure? Medical termination of pregnancy is 96-99% effective provided it is done within 7 weeks of pregnancy.

3. In what period it should be done? Medical termination of pregnancy is to be done within 7 weeks of gestation.

4. Is there any way to know before hand (like before missing your periods) about pregnancy? Beta HCG appears in the blood 1 week prior to missing periods.Therefore ,blood levels for B-HCG detects pregnancy even before missing periods.
