Question : Took macrobid for a week for a UTI, I'm not on birth control, and I'm officially a week late for my period. I took an at home pregnancy test and it came out negative, and I've never had unprotected sex. Is there any way the macrobid could've affected my cycle?

Hi,

UTI or Macrobid generally have no direct effect on periods. But due to stress or fever the periods might get delayed. You can weight up to 10 days and still if you have not got your period, I would suggest you to visit gynecologist for further evaluation.
