Question : I got treated for chlamydia and gonorrhea and waited 7 days to have sex and my partner got treat for chlamydia and he also waited a week to have sex...... is there any way we could of get infected again or are we in the clear?

As per your history, you had taken treatment for chlamydia and gonorrhea.

Hope you don't have any symptoms like vaginal/penile discharge, abdominal pain, burning while urination.

The only way to confirm that the infection has cleared is the retesting for chlamydia and gonorrhea.

You may get reinfected if exposed again to the infection as it's sexually transmitted infections.

So I would suggest you to use condom during sexual act till complete recovery.
