Question : Hi, my mother fell while overseas. I have recently traveled to see her and found out that her leg is possibly dislocated, that she didn't want to go to a doctor because of Covid and has stayed home healing for now 8 weeks. Her leg, at the knee, looks to be positioned different than her right leg. Is there anything I can do now, after 8 weeks to help her knee line up?

Hi there

I think there's possible intro which can be dealt with even if it's 8 weeks. Start first by taking her to the doctor and letting her be examined. An xray will then be required. After that the various options of treatment will be explained. Neglected injuries can still be managed well at this stage.

I know going to a doctor is the best choice, but sadly at this time it is very risky specially with her age and the way covid is being handled here. I wanted to know if there was anything I could maybe try to do to help her. I have some images of her leg if that will help.
