Question : Is there anything besides UTI that can cause frequent urination? I have been tested for the basics, but it all came back negative.
I seem to have to go almost every half hour. I have no pain anywhere, and no other symptoms of anything. I am taking Azo Cranberry for health, and just got off of Nitrofurantion. I stopped it early because the office called to tell me the lab came back negative for infection.

Brief Answer:
It can be incomplete emptying
Detailed Answer:
Hi Ginger111084,
What you describe could be a result of incomplete bladder emptying. There are many potential causes for this, most commonly diabetes or pelvic organ prolapse. I suggest you have your HbA1c (glycated hemoglobin to test for diabetes) measured and a pelvic examination by a urogynecologist.
Hope this helps.

Thank you! I will bring these up to my physician at my appointment tomorrow.
Follow up question. In regards to diabetes, since it runs in my family I feel that I am more prone to it. Would this be the more likely cause? I also have fatigue, weakness, dizziness among other minor irritations. I didn't worry too much about them since they also go along with my Chronic Migraine syndrome.
Thanks

Brief Answer:
You are at risk of diabetes
Detailed Answer:
Hi again,
You are definitely at an increased risk of diabetes, so it makes good sense to have it checked. The symptoms you describe are generalized and can be due to many things (including nothing), but also diabetes.
Best wishes.
