Hello,

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

To prevent swimmer itch you should avoid the areas where it is commonly happening, avoid shoreline and swim deep.

Rinse body after coming out of the lake and dry carefully.
Use waterproof suncream.
Bathe using Epsom or soda water afterward.

It doesn't go away in the lake but all the other areas apart from the lake and pond then it's less likely going to affect in salted water.
