Hello,

Yes, Ashwagandha root extract can potentiate effects of benzodiazepines as well as non-benzodiazepines (i.e. Zolpidem). If taken during the same course, they may increase drowsiness, even causes body ache and several other side effects.

So, it's not recommended to take them together.
