Brief Answer:
Most likely ok from just 1 cup.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome,

I looked up interactions for eleuthero. This is another name for Siberian Ginseng.

It is a generally safe herb by most reports. I could not find specific data about Siberian Ginseng with Losartan, however it can affect the blood levels of some blood pressure medications. Eleuthero and Losartan are broken down/processed (metabolized) by some of the same liver enzymes. So there is the potential that one could increase the blood levels of the other since they are competing for the same liver enzymes.

Siberian Ginseng in higher concentrations can cause an irregular heart rate and raise blood pressure.

So... what to think about all of this: from 1 cup, if your blood pressure has been controlled, and you have no abnormal heart rhythms, I would not expect an adverse effect. Whether to do this on a regular basis is another story as we don't know the effects.

I hope this provides the information you are looking for. Please let me know if I can provide further information or clarification.
