Question : My daughter had the nexplanon inserted on Oct 4th, 2018. She had her period just before the implant and now has had her period for the last week with increased bleeding changing her tampon about every hour. Is there something that she can take to help regulate her period better or does she need to have the nexplanon removed and something else?

Hi thanks for posting your query
It is normal with the nexolanon to have increased bleeding in few cases, if it's is very heavy kindly visit the gynaecologist to get the harmonal pills prescribed for few days if still the bleeding is not reduced then you can think of the implant removal
Take care
