Question : Hi, I done 2 seperate FOB tests within a couple of weeks. The first 3 one was positive.
I have hemerrhoids which were bleeding at the time.
The second test I done, all 3 tests were negative.
Is this a good sign that it is likely just my hemerrhoids that caused the positive test and there is nothing serious going on or to worry about?

                                    Brief Answer:
Most likely its nothing serious.
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Yes indeed. The most common reason of blood in stool are hemorrhoids. Especially if You are at young age (younger than 50).
If there was no colon cancer in Your family this is even more probable. I suggest You to wait and see. You may consult proctologist. Colonoscopy might be done if the problem reccurs however it is hardly possible this is something else.
Hope this helps
Regards

Ok thanks, I have bad anxiety and wants to think the worst.
There’s no family history of colon cancer.
I have had loose stools for quite a while. Not diarrhoea though. I go regularly once a day. No other symptoms. Is this a concern or just my diet you think?
My recent blood tests were all good, just my cholesterol was a bit high

                                    Brief Answer:
Your anxiety may be the reason.
Detailed Answer:
If You have an anxiety, loose stool daily may be just your regular pattern of defecation. I would take it as a symptom at all. Especially if it has not changed recently and persists like that.
You may improve diet for sure, add some fiber. But most likely it is due to anxiety.
