Question : I am on a 29-day cycle, with my last period starting on 27 July. Around ovulation day this cycle (10 August), I noticed tiny blood clots appearing only when I urinate, without any visible vaginal spotting, burning, urgency, or other urinary symptoms. This exact thing also happened during the cycle in which I previously conceived, but I had no such signs in my earlier cycles before my miscarriage. Only similarity is the thighs pain during both times. The clots are very small, occur only during urination, and resolve quickly. I’m concerned whether this is related to ovulation changes post-miscarriage rather than a urinary tract issue, and whether it could affect fertility.

Brief Answer:
Ovulation spotting

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I understand your concerns.

This is likely to be blood - spotting or tiny clots collected in vagina which comes out during urine passing. These are unlikely to be coming from urine.
It’s part of ovulation process if coming from vagina.
If you think it’s coming through urine, you need to get urine tested for infection.

Hi Doctor, earlier when I conceived I had pain in my thighs and got similar blood clots. Now it is same. There was no fetal heartbeat and fetal pole was not formed itseems. Now since this is ovulation period and I am planning pregnancy. Can this be reason for miscarriage related issues? Is this a fertility issue? what precautions should I take this time to avoid issues

Brief Answer:
This is not reason for miscarriage

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

This spotting suggests ovulation only and is not an indication of miscarriage.
There are other tests and treatment protocols to identify the reason for miscarriage which needs to be discussed with your fertility specialist.
Let me know where you live so that Ican connect you to a suitable doctor.
