Brief Answer:
Do not worry. Thumb sucking and rubbing face is normal habit at this age

Detailed Answer:
welcome to HCM
I have understood your query.

Babies have natural sucking and rooting reflexes which cause them to put their thumb in to mouth sometimes even before birth. Many children stop this thumb sucking habit by the age of 2-4 years.
Habit of sucking thumb is normal at the age of 23 days so do not worry. It will not cause any harm.

RUBBING of face is also common at this age which will not affect your baby. but to avoid facial redness from scratching, better to wear hand glows on baby's hand.

And yes, newborn lesions on face are normal which will disappear by itself. you can apply ointment prescribed by your doctor.

Hope you are satisfied with my answer.
